Hello Everyone,
I am employed once again doing the same type of work, just at a different
location. I am now employed at Commersel Studios
as a Senior Software Developer. We are working on a big project for a school district
that is worth quite a lot ($200,000 - $300,000 not quite sure what the actual
number is) and it is supposed to be done by the new school year. I might be having
to put in some overtime but that is okay. It is a fairly small company with about
20 employees and I am getting to wear a few different hats.
We had to go up to the border to get my new work visa for my new job so we visited
Niagara Falls again. Last time was in the winter so this time Julie and the kids
got to see the differences of the summer time.

Right on the top edge of Niagara Falls. The water just drops down
and down and down and down...

Looking past the fall's edge at the Peace Arch bridge and the US side of the falls.

We definitely were going on the Maid of the Mist this time as the last time we were
here it was closed for the winter season. This picture is looking at the Canadian side
of the falls closer to where the Maid of the Mist boats are docked.

Just a little farther from the falls.

This is one of the maid of the mist boats heading past the US falls to the Canadian ones.
There are several Maid of the Mists boats, today they had 3 going at the same time ( 1
loading, 1 going upstream to the falls, and 1 coming back to the dock).

Into the huge mist storm. Who needs a shower???
|
|
Three wet little puppies. Even with the included rain jacket, the mist will
find its way inside. I got it worse because I was the chosen one that was
supposed to take a picture from the bottom of the falls. I had to have the
camera on the outside and then try to tuck it under the plastic rain coat.
This always left a gaping hole on me so I got kind of wet.

Drying off in the sun in front of the falls.

This is one of the pictures from the bottom of the falls. Another one was
from closer in but all you can see is a wall of water and mist.
