The base of the empire state building. We were going to take the tour of it the first
day but it was too cloudy so we decided to wait for a better day.

The family in Central park.
It was quite neat to see how all of the noise from the city just faded away as you went deeper into
the park. At that point we had not realized how much noise there was until it disappeared.

We toured around in a narrated double decker tour bus. The top deck was open air and it
allowed us to see tons. It also let us get totally soaked one day when it just
poured down with rain. The tour bus had a limited number of throw away rain
slickers so we all tried to share one. The result was we all got wet!!.

This is a decommissioned aircraft carrier (I forget the name of it). It is huge!! Disney used this carrier to
film a movie on called Tiger Cruise

We also went on a boat that circled New York. We went by Yankee Stadium.

This is the statue of Liberty. The inside was closed to tourists due to security concerns
so unfortunately we could not go inside.
