Lebanon School District City High Charter High School Pittsburgh Public Schools These sites contain the same features and functionality. They contain a set of software products grouped together and targeted mainly towards School Districts, but also sold separately to businesses as their requirements are different. These products contain a Content Management System, a School Dashboard, a mass email module that can send out targeted emails and newsletters, and a Survey System. Although I have worked on all of these modules, the one that I was involved from the very start of designing the features and carried through each of the development steps to the final finished product (although it is constantly having new features added) is the School Dashboard. This module enables the School District to provide a direct link between students, parents and teachers while transferring information. This is a password restricted website allowing the user to view only their own information. It shows the student's homework and all of the related information such as assigned and due dates, external web links, uploaded files from the teacher, etc. Just watch your child try to say that they don't have any homework tonight!! It has their grades from each assignment along with their running semester total (to see if they have an A or a B), their class schedule, a discussion area, daily attendance, and other useful school information. One school uses a card swipe for their attendance taking. If your child swipes in at the school at 7:55 AM you will be able to see it on your dashboard within a few seconds after they swipe their card. I only wish the school my kids go to would have this product! Hazelwood Farms Homeowners Association I completely designed and built this web site from the ground up and am continuing to update it with new features as needs/desires arise. This is a Homeowners Association web site that displays relevant information and keeps all Homeowners Association members informed. As a Home Association member I volunteered my time and effort to create this site and have received tons of positive feedback. This password protected site uses ASP pages along with a MS SQL 2000 database. Seneca Valley Soccer Association This is a site that I volunteered to build as my son is involved playing soccer. I designed the complete site including all of the graphics. It allows selected administrators to easily add content to the site providing up-to-date information with minimal effort. 35WSEE This is a Erie, PA Television Station's web site. It utilizes Cold Fusion mated together with an Access database. It also has a web enabled administration section so that they are able to make page content changes themselves with ease. I was responsible for any desired changes to the site. I have added new sections to this web site and made numerous other requested changes. This site is no longer published on the Internet. mfgGate.com is a product of the IRC Network, Inc. The Industrial Resource Centers (IRCs) are a network of seven, not-for-profit economic development corporations located throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. mfgGate.com provides a targeted point of entrance for eBusiness opportunities and education, gives its manufacturers access to business opportunities electronically, and makes its manufacturers visible and easily accessible to business customers world-wide. This site utilizes Active Server Pages ASP along with a backend SQL database. There was one other developer working with me on this project. Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) SIMA is a non-profit organization providing a network of resources and information to their members in the snow and ice industry, and promoting ethical, efficient, and environmentally sound risk management. I was responsible for upkeep and any new changes to this site. It uses Cold Fusion with an Access database. It has a member (password protected) section with an online forum and other features. The web site also has an web enabled administrative section where they can change the content on the pages or view/edit members information. ModelGolf I was part of a team that put this interactive web site together. It's purpose is to determine faults with the subscriber golfer's swing and give appropiate lessons so that the golfer will be able to improve their play.This site is very large with hundreds of pages utilizing ASP and SQL Server. This site has 3 web servers, 2 database servers, and 1 commerce server. This site is no longer published on the Internet. Cadata Consulting http://www.dwgbase.com Designed and developed a website using Microsoft FrontPage and HTML. This site displayed the features and benefits of the company’s CAD software and had an E-commerce section allowing customers to purchase the software products.The website also had a multi-threaded discussion page with which visitors could ask and/or answer other people's questions. Tridon Communications I designed and built an E-commerce portion for Tridon Communications to allow them to sell their products over the Internet. The E-commerce web pages were built using Active Sever Pages (ASP) which allow for dynamic web pages which interact with their database. This site is no longer available on the Internet.
